Smart PD Solu­tions Oy to advance inno­va­tion in peri­toneal dial­y­sis care

Smart PD Solu­tions Oy has entered into a know-how agree­ment with Mayo Clin­ic to license cer­tain for the devel­op­ment of tech­nolo­gies designed to improve peri­toneal dial­y­sis (PD) mon­i­tor­ing and infec­tion detec­tion.

The col­lab­o­ra­tion focus­es on inte­grat­ing Mayo Clinic’s sci­en­tif­ic and clin­i­cal know-how with Smart PD Solu­tions’ pro­pri­etary sen­sor and AI plat­form. The aim is to devel­op advanced tools that could sup­port ear­li­er detec­tion of peri­toni­tis and more effec­tive ther­a­py mon­i­tor­ing, help­ing clin­i­cians deliv­er safer and more indi­vid­u­al­ized dial­y­sis treat­ment.
