Present your pro­to­type to Oamk experts and receive direct feed­back on usabil­i­ty, devel­op­ment needs, and suit­abil­i­ty for social and health­care ser­vices.

We con­duct com­pre­hen­sive test­ing either in our phys­i­cal facil­i­ties or remote­ly. Approx­i­mate­ly 15 stu­dents or pro­fes­sion­als par­tic­i­pate, pro­vid­ing con­crete feed­back on the use of your prod­uct dur­ing its devel­op­ment phase.

What we do

At Human­tech­lab, you can devel­op, research, and test health and well­be­ing prod­ucts and ser­vices in real-world con­di­tions. We also offer our facil­i­ties for staff train­ing, allow­ing pro­fes­sion­als to become famil­iar with new devices and oper­at­ing mod­els in a safe envi­ron­ment.

We oper­ate in an agile man­ner: you typ­i­cal­ly receive expert feed­back with­in 2–4 weeks. More exten­sive test­ing begins as soon as the test­ing plan is finalised, the right experts are recruit­ed, and con­trac­tu­al mat­ters are in place. We help you com­plete the prepa­ra­tions as smooth­ly and effi­cient­ly as pos­si­ble.

You will have access to a broad group of social and health­care pro­fes­sion­als. In addi­tion to under­grad­u­ate stu­dents, testers include expe­ri­enced pro­fes­sion­als com­plet­ing Master’s lev­el (UAS) degrees. Oamk’s own expert staff also par­tic­i­pate, ensur­ing a strong sci­en­tif­ic and prac­ti­cal foun­da­tion for the test­ing.

Flex­i­bil­i­ty is impor­tant to us: as the client, you can define the dura­tion and scope of the test­ing accord­ing to your company’s needs – rang­ing from sin­gle infor­ma­tion ses­sions to longer fol­low-up peri­ods.

Yes. We design the test­ing process in close col­lab­o­ra­tion with you. We lever­age our exten­sive expe­ri­ence from pre­vi­ous projects to ensure you get the max­i­mum ben­e­fit from the test­ing. We pro­vide mod­ern facil­i­ties and suit­able testers, and at the end of the test­ing we deliv­er com­pre­hen­sive reports on the results.

Note: The client is respon­si­ble for the offi­cial test­ing plan for med­ical devices.

Col­lab­o­ra­tion runs smooth­ly when respon­si­bil­i­ties are clear­ly defined. As the client, you are respon­si­ble for prepar­ing the test­ing plan, with sup­port from our experts. Detailed respon­si­bil­i­ties and work phas­es are always doc­u­ment­ed in a joint agree­ment so that both par­ties have a clear under­stand­ing of the project process.

We pro­vide you with a clear and ready-made tem­plate that you com­plete based on your objec­tives. We review the draft togeth­er and, if nec­es­sary, sug­gest refine­ments or alter­na­tive imple­men­ta­tion approach­es to ensure the final result best serves your com­pa­ny.
