ProWellness to support NAVIGATE-EOT2D study in Ireland
ProWellness is supporting the NAVIGATE-EOT2D initiative at Sligo University Hospital and the Benbulbin Chronic Disease Management Hub in Ireland.
The initiative focuses on improving care and outcomes for younger adults with early-onset type 2 diabetes (EOT2D), a particularly important patient group as the condition can progress more aggressively and lead to earlier development of diabetes-related complications. ProWellness CDMS will provide the digital platform for the initiative. In collaboration with the clinical teams in Sligo, ProWellness will extend its CDMS diabetes module with dedicated functionality to support the EOT2D care pathway.
ProWellness has developed a digital health solution for the prevention and management of chronic diseases, which combine clinical care management, remote monitoring and AI-supported self-management to provide healthcare professionals with a holistic view of patients and enable earlier interventions. The company’s Balansio platform offers patients 24/7 personalised digital support and remote monitoring, while the CDMS system supports healthcare professionals in coordinating and managing chronic care.
The collaboration with Sligo University Hospital and the Benbulbin Chronic Disease Management Hub aims to establish a long-term partnership to support digital diabetes care in the region.
