Are you a start­up or an inno­v­a­tive com­pa­ny look­ing to trans­form pedi­atric health­care? This is your chance to pilot your solu­tion in the Finnish pub­lic health­care sys­tem.

This chal­lenge is aimed at star­tups and com­pa­nies reg­is­tered in the EU devel­op­ing cut­ting-edge tools, diag­nos­tics, or treat­ments for pedi­atric dis­eases.

What will the win­ners get?

• €7,500 in fund­ing to pilot their inno­va­tion at the New Chil­dren’s Hos­pi­tal in Helsin­ki, Fin­land.
• An exclu­sive oppor­tu­ni­ty to present at the Pedi­atric Inno­va­tion Day (an invi­ta­tion-only event) in Sep­tem­ber, bring­ing togeth­er hos­pi­tal lead­er­ship, health­care com­pa­nies, and investors.

How can I apply?

Sub­mit your pro­pos­al before the dead­line 28. Novem­ber 2025 16:00 (EET). A jury of clin­i­cal and inno­va­tion experts will eval­u­ate all sub­mis­sions and select the win­ners in Decem­ber.

The call for appli­ca­tions is open from Octo­ber 28 Novem­ber 28.

The Pedi­atric Inno­va­tion Chal­lenge is launched in col­lab­o­ra­tion with Helsin­ki Uni­ver­si­ty Hos­pi­tal, The New Chil­dren’s Hos­pi­tal Foun­da­tion, Health Incu­ba­tor Helsin­ki and Forum Vir­i­um.
