Pain2Care – a new digital health solution developed in Oulu
Pain2Care, a new digital health application is now available on Google Play in 177 countries and 7 languages. The solution is based on real-life experience with chronic pain, trauma, and the need for more practical tools to support both patients and healthcare professionals.
Pain2Care is designed as a comprehensive, user-friendly platform that helps individuals better understand, document, and manage their condition. At the same time, it supports more structured communication with healthcare providers.
What does Pain2Care offer?
- Pain tracking and reporting
Users can track pain using an intuitive body map, monitor trends over time, and generate clear PDF reports to share with doctors or therapists. This improves the accuracy of patient-reported data and supports clinical decision-making.
- Trauma recovery support
The app includes 12 guided, evidence-based modules designed to support recovery from psychological trauma. These modules provide structured, self-guided support that users can access anytime.
- Secure incident documentation
Pain2Care allows users to document incidents in a secure, PIN-protected and encrypted environment. Reports can be stored safely and shared when needed, for example, with healthcare providers or authorities.
- Anonymous peer support community
Users can connect with others through an anonymous community, enabling peer support while maintaining privacy.
Pain2Care is GDPR-compliant and designed to ensure high standards of data protection. The app is accessible globally and supports multiple languages, making it scalable for international use. Pain2Care aims to bridge the gap between patient self-management and healthcare systems by providing better data, improved continuity, and more patient-centered tools.
