New collaboration to advance restorative care training for older adults
GeroNursing Centre (GNC) and Hoivatie Oy have joined forces to leverage local expertise and have signed a cooperation agreement to launch a comprehensive training collaboration in 2026.
The partnership aims to prepare the staff of a new care home scheduled to open in 2027 through advanced continuing education focused on the restorative care of older adults. In addition, the collaboration will promote innovation, including the development of digital solutions that support restorative care and enhance the quality of life of older adults.
This initiative reflects a shared commitment to excellence in gerontological care and to integrating cutting-edge approaches to meet the evolving needs of an ageing population.
