Muis­tiSe­niori wins the Pos­i­tive Tech­nol­o­gy Achieve­ment Award 2026

Muis­tiSe­niori, devel­oped by MoMo­Me­Heat Oy, has been award­ed the Pos­i­tive Tech­nol­o­gy Achieve­ment Award 2026. The award was select­ed by the Senior Dig­i­tal Pan­el and pre­sent­ed by the Finnish Asso­ci­a­tion for the Wel­fare of Old­er Peo­ple and Rel­a­tives (VAL­LI) at the DigiAgeTalk event on May 27, 2026.

Found­ed by phys­io­ther­a­pist Nina Sevan­der, Muis­tiSe­niori has been devel­oped to address lone­li­ness, inac­tiv­i­ty, and declin­ing well-being among old­er adults. The solu­tion com­bines phys­i­cal, cog­ni­tive, and social activ­i­ties based on Montes­sori-method-inspired prin­ci­ples and includes a high­ly val­ued dig­i­tal mem­o­ry book. The plat­form sup­ports mean­ing­ful engage­ment while pro­mot­ing well-being and func­tion­al abil­i­ty.

Cho­sen as the win­ner by a pan­el of peo­ple aged 65 and over, Muis­tiSe­niori was rec­og­nized for its acces­si­bil­i­ty, ease of use, and abil­i­ty to moti­vate old­er adults in Fin­land to par­tic­i­pate in mean­ing­ful activ­i­ties inde­pen­dent­ly or togeth­er with oth­ers.
