As a city known for being at the forefront of technology innovation, Oulu is a hub for research and development in the fields of digital health and wireless communications. While electronic health records, telemedicine, and mobile health services have been in clinical use for over 25 years, there is also active research in territories such as AI, novel sensor technology, and edge computing, as well as the scientific assessment of the impact of such innovations in real life.

The Nordic Conference on Digital Health and Wireless Solutions invites professionals, researchers, and industry leaders to discuss and share insights on the latest developments. Discussions about current trends will be held with invited lectures, as well as submitted papers and posters. The keynotes will cover a wide Nordic and International perspective to these topics.

The conference features:

  • Invited Talks by Experts
  • Research Paper Presentations
  • Poster Sessions
  • Technical Exhibitions and Site Visits
  • Networking Opportunities

The scope of themes covered in the conference can give you ample opportunity to present your work to an expert audience, regardless of your research being aimed towards technology, informatics, medicine, health sciences, education, or economics.
