Local gov­ern­ment pitch event “Invest‑1” sup­port­ing pro­mo­tion of for­eign busi­ness attrac­tion to regions in the Bio and Life Sci­ences sec­tor in Japan

In Japan, var­i­ous regions are home to unique indus­tries, fea­tur­ing advanced tech­nol­o­gy-dri­ven medi­um and small enter­pris­es, world-class research insti­tu­tions, and rich, attrac­tive liv­ing envi­ron­ments, all of which present diverse busi­ness oppor­tu­ni­ties for for­eign com­pa­nies.

The Invest­ment Facil­i­ta­tion Divi­sion of the Min­istry of Econ­o­my, Trade and Indus­try (METI) will hold its inau­gur­al pitch event and net­work­ing event, in which local gov­ern­ments will show­case the attrac­tive­ness of their regions (such as indus­tri­al resources, human resources, research insti­tu­tions, and liv­ing envi­ron­ments) and sup­port sys­tems to for­eign com­pa­nies in the bio and life sci­ences sec­tor, that are aim­ing to enter or expand their busi­ness in Japan.
