From Light to Life: Innovations in Photonic Wearables Seminar, Oulu
Warmly welcome to join the final seminar organized by the PhotonWear project.
Today, more and more wearable electronics are used for monitoring health and wellness. PhotonWear, a jointly-funded co-innovation project funded by Business Finland and coordinated by VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland, developed new optical methods for measuring physiological functions and biomarkers to enable monitoring users’ health, such as cardiac function, blood circulation, and metabolism. In addition, novel research tools such as simulations and optical fantoms were developed to speed up the R & D process. The project partners were VTT, GE HealthCare, ElFys, Oura, Bittium and the University of Oulu, with international research exchange between universities and research institutes. This seminar will provide an overview of the project results from the research partners, as well as insights from the company partners. Join us to hear the latest developments in the field. The seminar also provides a great opportunity to network in the field of health and wellness technologies.
The event is free of charge but requires registration. Kindly note that the number of participants is limited.
