EFSim Home — a new way for fam­i­lies to under­stand exec­u­tive func­tion chal­lenges

This autumn, Peili Vision intro­duces EFSim Home, a new way for fam­i­lies to gain clar­i­ty and sup­port in their child’s or young person’s learn­ing, focus, and every­day exec­u­tive func­tion skills. EFSim Home is a dig­i­tal sim­u­la­tion-based test designed for young peo­ple aged 8–20. It will bring mean­ing­ful insight into atten­tion, plan­ning, and mem­o­ry direct­ly into the home.

When launched, EFSim Home will pro­vide an engag­ing, game-like expe­ri­ence that helps fam­i­lies under­stand how their child or young per­son man­ages tasks that rely on exec­u­tive func­tions. In just one 30‑minute web‑based ses­sion — com­plet­ed on a com­put­er or lap­top with head­phones and with­out any app down­loads — par­ents will receive an easy‑to‑read Report that high­lights strengths and chal­lenges relat­ed to exec­u­tive func­tion skills — the brain process­es behind focus, self-man­age­ment, and prob­lem-solv­ing.

EFSim Home is being built to meet a clear need. Many fam­i­lies want to bet­ter under­stand their child’s or young person’s think­ing, learn­ing, and behav­iour but often face long wait­ing times, com­plex assess­ment paths, or lim­it­ed access to sup­port. EFSim Home will give par­ents a sim­ple, acces­si­ble way to gain mean­ing­ful insight and take the first step toward the right sup­port. EFSim Home will offi­cial­ly launch lat­er this autumn, open­ing a new, par­ent-friend­ly path to under­stand­ing.
