EFSim has officially passed its ORCHA assessment

EFSim has taken an important step in building trust and recognition in digital health by passing its ORCHA assessment. This review demonstrates that EFSim meets recognised standards of safety, security, and usability qualities that matter to healthcare professionals when choosing digital health tools.

EFSim is a Class IIa medical device software, CE-marked under EU MDR 2017/745. The solution is a web-based digital tool that can be used remotely to support the early identification of challenges faced by children in relation to executive functions. Instead of relying only on questionnaires, EFSim provides objective data. This helps professionals make faster, more accurate decisions about support and potential ADHD assessments, while also offering practical guidance for families and educators. Because EFSim is accessible anywhere, it can be introduced early in the pathway so children get needs-based support straight away — without waiting for a formal diagnosis. This reduces unnecessary referrals, shortens waiting times, and improves outcomes for children, while easing the pressure on healthcare services.

By combining early intervention with objective insights, EFSim helps create a smoother, more effective journey from concern to diagnosis and beyond.
