Detec­tion Tech­nol­o­gy expands Shang­hai oper­a­tions to sup­port cus­tomer suc­cess and growth

Detec­tion Tech­nol­o­gy, a glob­al leader in X‑ray detec­tor solu­tions, announced the suc­cess­ful relo­ca­tion and expan­sion of its Shang­hai branch, mark­ing an impor­tant mile­stone in the company’s DT2030 strat­e­gy. The upgrad­ed facil­i­ty enhances Detec­tion Technology’s ser­vice, prod­uct devel­op­ment, and test­ing capa­bil­i­ties, sup­port­ing cus­tomer suc­cess and the company’s strate­gic objec­tives.

The expand­ed Shang­hai site has been designed to enhance col­lab­o­ra­tion and improve oper­a­tional effi­cien­cy. With the facil­i­ty’s floor area hav­ing near­ly dou­bled, the increased space enables clos­er cross-func­tion­al col­lab­o­ra­tion, faster response to cus­tomer needs, and more effi­cient exe­cu­tion of devel­op­ment activ­i­ties.

As part of the expan­sion, Detec­tion Tech­nol­o­gy has fur­ther invest­ed in its R&D envi­ron­ment to sup­port the devel­op­ment of next-gen­er­a­tion detec­tor solu­tions. Enhanced test­ing and val­i­da­tion capa­bil­i­ties enable the com­pa­ny to eval­u­ate detec­tor per­for­mance in appli­ca­tion-spe­cif­ic envi­ron­ments that close­ly reflect real cus­tomer use cas­es, includ­ing indus­tri­al inspec­tion and com­put­ed tomog­ra­phy appli­ca­tions. The upgrad­ed facil­i­ties sup­port more effi­cient prod­uct val­i­da­tion and faster trans­la­tion of cus­tomer insights into prod­uct improve­ments. These invest­ments strength­en the company’s abil­i­ty to address increas­ing­ly demand­ing imag­ing chal­lenges across indus­tri­al, secu­ri­ty, and med­ical appli­ca­tions while accel­er­at­ing cus­tomer-dri­ven inno­va­tion.

The com­pa­ny has also enhanced its qual­i­ty capa­bil­i­ties through invest­ments in qual­i­ty con­trol process­es, test­ing envi­ron­ments, and oper­a­tional excel­lence. These improve­ments sup­port con­sis­tent prod­uct qual­i­ty, reli­a­bil­i­ty, and per­for­mance, help­ing cus­tomers achieve depend­able results in demand­ing imag­ing appli­ca­tions.

The expand­ed facil­i­ty also sup­ports planned team growth and pro­vides addi­tion­al space for col­lab­o­ra­tion with cus­tomers and part­ners.
