The OuluHealth Labs is an essential part of the OuluHealth ecosystem. The Labs provide a unique environment in Oulu that allows companies as well as social and healthcare professionals to develop new solutions under authentic conditions and with genuine users. Innovations are tested through the entire service chain, from private homes all the way to health centres and hospitals.
The OuluHealth Labs have recently developed a systematic approach to evaluate digital and technological solutions. Based on this evaluation process, the OuluHealth Labs can provide an acknowledgement, the OuluHealth Labs Label, for the company and its solution that has passed the process.
The labels are divided into three categories:
APPROVED: This label is intended for the solution that already exists, and it is targeted at the social and healthcare sector.
TESTED: This label is intended for the solution that is targeted at the social and healthcare sector and is still being developed. The developer / company wants to get feedback for the further development process. Another option is that the solution already exists, but it is not directly targeted at the social and healthcare sector. In this case, a company wants to test the feasibility of their solution to the social and healthcare sector.
CO-CREATED: This label is intended for the solution or idea whose maturity is intended to be developed or a solution or idea whose feasibility is intended to be developed in the social and healthcare context.
