Oura has raised capital at a $2.55 billion valuation

Smart ring maker, Oura, adds new capital that reaches $2.55B valuation. The company is going to use the funding to support research and development as well as personalized and guided content. Lifeline Ventures, Forerunner Ventures, and MSD Capital have taken part in the company’s funding rounds.

Oura has developed wearable technology in a form of a smart ring, which provides its users with personalized data on sleep, heart rate, temperature, and more.

Last October, the company launched its Gen3 ring, and introduced new hardware and software.

In June 2022, Oura is planning to activate new features for exercise analytics and SPO2 (oxygen saturation), as well as updated sleep staging. This will help pursue the next million sales.
