Nukute showcased their solution in the finals of the Top 12 Health Techpreneurs, pitch and award ceremony organized during MEDICA 2021 trade fairs in Düsseldorf.
This year MEDICA returned once again as a live event that gathered international health companies, investors, health enthusiasts and innovators. The program boasted a variety of speeches and presentations. One of them was the 13th Healthcare Innovation World Cup®, a part of the Innovation World Cup® Series, the world’s leading open innovation platform that supports breakthrough innovations. This competition culminated in the pitching ceremony delivered by twelve selected finalists. The only Finnish health company present in the finals was Oulu-based Nukute represented by Séamus Holohan who brought to the spotlight Nukute’s technology for respiratory analysis.
After the pitches live jury announced Implandata Ophthalmic Products GmbH as the best Health Techpreneurs 2021 based on the level of innovations, go-to-market-approach, commercial potential, and sustainability.
The 13th Healthcare Innovation World Cup® received about 290 submissions from over 60 countries. The Innovation World Cup® Series was initiated by Navispace AG in 2003.
