Northern Ostrobothnia Hospital district selected Monidor as the provider of the remote monitoring service for IV therapy

Northern Ostrobothnia Hospital District (PPSHP) tendered the remote monitoring of IV treatment and  Monidor was selected as its supplier.

Monidor`s solution streamlines a healthcare workflow in wards by reducing infusion therapy related routine visits to patient rooms and material costs. User feedback repeatedly highlights the time savings, the easier work and the particularly great benefits in isolation rooms and during night shifts.

Monidor has been extensively piloted in the PPSHP area and, based on wards’ feedback, has achieved relief for nursing in busy inpatient wards and accuracy in monitoring the implementation of treatment.  PPSHP decided to put the remote monitoring of infusion therapy out to tender due to the recognized need in wards. It is important to make technical solutions that facilitate nursing available to professionals,” says  Juha Putkonen, Procurement Manager at PPSHP.

”Our goal is to save nurses time and improve quality of care in IV therapy on standard hospital wards. The successful completion of the PPSHP tender is the result of long-term work, we are excited about the agreement,” says Mikko Savola, CEO of Monidor.
