The award was granted during an official ceremony held as part of the International Conference & the 26th Finnish National Conference on Telemedicine and eHealth on 7 – 8 October 2021 in Oulu.
The event brought together healthcare professionals, service providers and researchers to update their knowledge on international and Nordic eHealth trends and solutions.
Professor Reponen, who has more than 20 years of experience with telemedicine and digital radiology projects and electronic patient record system development, received the award as a tribute to his work and meaningful achievements.
