Klaimber® electric is a new mains-powered, plug & play version of Kailamed’s assistive person and patient lift. With the electric version, Kailamed Oy offers an assistive product that can enable independent & active living for even more people with limited physical abilities, including wheelchair users.
Klaimber® electric is based on Kailamed’s award-winning design. It’s furniture-like appearance makes it ideal for both home and healthcare use. Klaimber® electric requires no setup or assembly. Because it also functions as a regular chair, it requires no extra space and doesn’t need to be stored away.
Not only can Klaimber® electric lift its user up from the floor, it can also bring them gently down on the floor – simply at the press of a button. The CE certified Class I Medical Device is very pleasant and easy to use and practically silent in operation.
The added feature of allowing people to easily bring themselves down to the floor has new benefits, especially for wheelchair users. With Klaimber® electric, many people with disabilities can spend time away from their wheelchair. The floor is a safe environment for exercise, playing with children or pets, and many other activities. When it’s time to get back up, Klaimber® electric does it safely & steadily at the press of a button.
Research & development of the new Klaimber® electric has been co-funded by the European Union. It is available in an increasing number of European markets through established distributors.
