Finnish – Israeli innovation cooperation explored

Finnish and Israeli representatives met in Tel-Aviv in May to discuss the potential for cooperation related to the testing and developing of new solutions for the health sector. Both countries put a lot of attention to innovation activities that aim at improving health and social care in the future. The cooperation can lead to developing new solutions for the benefit of citizens.

During the delegation visit, the first steps of the cooperation were discussed, and an agreement was drawn up. The goal is to continue working on the cooperation model and open the door to testing opportunities in Finland for health and life science companies from Israel.  During the visit, Oulu introduced the offering of the OuluHealth Labs, which is a world-class testing and innovation environment. The OuluHealth Labs may serve as an aid to Israeli companies and health professionals in the future.

Next, an Israeli delegation is coming to Finland to join the 2022 HIMSS European Health Conference & Exhibition in Helsinki and continue discussions.
