Oulu-based Finnadvance is one of the awarded companies at the Healthcare Venture Conference Kyoto (HVC KYOTO) 2022, which is Japan’s largest English pitch event specializing in health care. The event was held already for the 7th time in Kyoto Research Park, this year both online and onsite.
On 5 July, 430 participants, including online participants, listened to company pitchings. Finnadvance took its place among the finalists that showcased their solutions and took part in partnering meetings. Finnadvance won the pitching competition in two out of five categories and went home with the Shonan Health Innovation Park Award and the Startup Capital Kyoto Award.
HVC KYOTO 2022 brought together partners from the pharmaceuticals, biotech, medtech, and venture capitals sectors. The event is described as the window between the global market and Japan.
