The Extreme Tech Challenge (XTC) competition is one of the world’s largest startup competitions for entrepreneurs addressing global challenges. Companies from about 100 countries are ready for a chance to tell the audience how their innovations can make the world a better place.
XTC competitors are then evaluated by a team of highly experienced investors, entrepreneurs, and executives who take into consideration their quality, ability to address the corresponding U.N. Sustainability Development Goals, and long-term viability.
Finnadvance has been selected from the pool of 1800+ applicants to pitch at XTC and showcase their solution. The company will compete in the biotech and medical devices category. Finnadvance is developing miniature chips for the pharmaceutical industry and for research. The chips mimic the functions of a human organ and allow for more precise and expedient drug discovery.
The Finalist Cohort will be invited to the virtual XTC Bootcamp. Global Finals will meet the VC and corporate executive evaluators and pitch to XTC judges at the Category Finals. Then the winner will be selected in each category and the winner of each Special Award. These Category Winners will then advance to the final event, the Extreme Tech Challenge 2021 Global Finals Presented by TechCrunch.
