Team Finland’s visit to Italy – focus on the transition in the healthcare sector

The Italian healthcare system is in transition so there is a need to re-think the entire healthcare system;

  • digitalization as enabler
  • how to collect and use data to improve healthcare processes
  • how to encourage and enable prevention
  • self-monitoring and telemedicine and
  • how to design sustainable future hospitals.

Italy and Finland have complementary expertise and competencies and the Team Finland network has identified ways to connect Italian and Finnish companies and stakeholders. This 3-day visit to Milan gives an interesting opportunity for Finnish companies to meet with potential Italian clients, partners, and key stakeholders.

Time: 10 – 12 May 2023
Place: Milan, Italy
Registration by 17 March: https://www.lyyti.fi/reg/Italian_Healthcare_Sector_9340

The visit program is divided into 2 modules. On the first and third day, the programs are the same for all the participants. On  11 May, there are two parallel programs.

Module 1: Future Hospital Workshop in collaboration with Politecnico di Milano

This one-day expert workshop is an opportunity for mutual learning and co-creation with the objective to identify collaboration opportunities.

The program is intended for Finnish Healthtech companies, which participated in the pitching sessions arranged in 2022 and are ready to continue to face-to-face discussions with the Italian system integrators (Aizoon, Reply, Philips Italy) and Eteria (Construction & engineering consortium) as well as to present their offering to a private hospital group.
