Team Finland visit to the UK

Digital health has been a focus in the UK for several years and Covid-19 has boosted it even further. The NHSX – United Kingdom Government unit with responsibility for setting national policy and developing best practices for National Health Service technology, digital and data – strategy is to support the use of digital services and technologies to transform patients’ and their carers’ access to health and care. This includes online access to personal health records.

The UK is currently building shared health and care records across primary, secondary, and social care. The UK also has the “largest in decades” hospital investment program, aiming to build altogether 48 new hospitals by 2030, many of which will be retrofitting. These both investments open up various opportunities for Finnish companies.

On this note, Ms. Päivi Sillanaukee, Ambassador for Health and Wellbeing, will visit the United Kingdom with a Team Finland business delegation. The visit will offer an opportunity to gain and increase market knowledge, learn about partners and decision-makers, and how to access the UK market. By participating in the delegation, you can build and grow your own valuable network in the UK.
