Join the Team Finland business delegation visit to Berlin and the DMEA Fair in April 2022.
The German Federal Ministry of Health is taking significant measures to increase the grade of digitalization in the German healthcare system. During the Covid-19 pandemic, the importance and need for digital health and modern digital systems became even more obvious than before. Now the German Federal Government will invest directly in the digital future of German hospitals. With the help of the €3 billion Hospital Future Fund, as part of German RRF funding, investments are channelled to better digital infrastructure, modern emergency capacities and information security of hospitals.
This visit offers a great opportunity for Finnish companies to get better connected with the German digital health and wellbeing market and with new digital health customers and collaborators in Germany. This is a powerful means for you to drive your market presence in Germany, get new business and valuable contacts. The visit program includes participation at the DMEA Trade Fair and Congress, Europe’s leading event for the digitization of healthcare, which offers various modules of congress, training, networking, and the opportunity to make ideal contacts in the industry.
The visit is led by Dr. Päivi Sillanaukee, Ambassador for Health and Wellbeing at the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
This onsite visit is primarily aimed at Finnish companies that focus on digital health in the hospital and outpatient environments, and have a product or a service targeted for international distribution in their portfolio. The visit is open for max. 15 companies and preliminarily for one representative per company from Finland on a first-come, first-served basis.
We are closely following the Covid-19 travel restrictions and upcoming changes related to them. Kindly note that all delegates are required to have proof of two vaccinations to be able to take part in the visit program.
The delegation program in Berlin will consist of meetings with local IT integrators who work with the significant German hospitals and companies, matchmaking and networking events, site visits and participation at the international DMEA trade fair and congress.

PRACTICALITIES
To cover the expenses of arranging the visit, Business Finland will charge a participation fee.
- Micro Businesses and SMEs: 530 EUR + 24% VAT per person
- Major Companies: 625 EUR + 24% VAT per person
Business Finland will invoice the participation fee after the visit based on the actual costs. The invoiced fee will not exceed the amounts mentioned above. Kindly note that the participation fee does not include flights or accommodation of the participant nor meals outside the business delegation program.
