NOME is the first pan-Nordic mentor network connecting the best life science entrepreneurs with handpicked internationally- renowned investors, serial entrepreneurs and high-profile executives as mentors. NOME is operated by seven partner organizations and funded by the Novo Nordisk Foundation.

A central part of the NOME Annual Meeting is a Startup Competition, which provides the opportunity of learning more about the most promising Nordic life science startups as they pitch their businesses and projects. Five companies will be selected to pitch at the NOME Annual Meeting to an audience consisting of the leading experts in the life science industry. The best companies will get a direct pass to participate in the NOME Mentoring Program, and the winner will receive 50 000 DKK in prize money.
