Health Tuesday: changing the world with vaccine innovations

Health Tuesday is a series of networking events addressing health and wellbeing themes. The event is organized by Business Finland on the first Tuesday of each month and it offers participants an excellent opportunity to discuss with health professionals, health tech companies, decision-makers, investors, and representatives of the public sector.

The next health Tuesday will cover the topic of vaccine research in Finland.

The history of vaccine development has seen many great achievements and also Finland has a long history of successful vaccine research and development. Today vaccines are a “hot topic” due to the COVID-19 pandemic. There has been a lot of activities in Finland recently related to vaccines, e.g. a new company Rokote Laboratories Finland Oy was established based on academic research and also another new company Rokotetutkimuskeskus Finvac Oy was established, owned by the University of Tampere and Finnish Institute for Health and Welfare THL.
