Beyond Helsinki: Oulu Innovation Spotlight, SLUSH side event by BusinessOulu

Slush is a student-conducted and non-profit event held annually in Helsinki and is an opportunity for start-up founders, start-up operators, investors, media, and policymakers to come together. Over the course of two days, the event’s attendants get to experience full-stage programs, plus over 300 side events, meetings, mentoring and networking sessions, and facilitated workshops. The event’s speaker line-up includes successful start-up founders, investors, and other tech and start-up influencers.

Initially founded to change attitudes towards entrepreneurship, Slush’s mission is to help and create the next generation of entrepreneurs. It is the largest technical event production in the Nordic countries, with 5,000 start-up founders and operators, 3,000 investors, and 300 media representatives. In 2023, the event takes place on November 30th and December 1st at the Helsinki Expo and Convention Center (Messukeskus).
