Millennium Talks Workshop – Asking more from research

The workshop is co-organized by Technology Academy Finland and Biocenter Finland and supported by the Institut Francais de Finlande, the Embassy of France in Finland as well as the Aalto University. Its main idea is to discuss how technologies emanating from frontier research can be used in industry, clinical care and research in Finland. The workshop promotes a mind-set change amongst academic researchers to acknowledge the importance of wider impact of findings of fundamental research. The speakers feature innovators such as the 2016 Millennium Technology Prize Winner Frances Arnold.

The workshop is free of charge.
