Smart PD Solu­tions accept­ed into the AMPLi­fy ‑Accel­er­at­ed U.S. Mar­ket Entry Pro­gram

The AMPlify—Accelerated U.S. Mar­ket Entry Pro­gram 2024 cohort has been announced. Oulu-based Smart PD Solu­tions is one of the com­pa­nies select­ed for the pro­gram.

AMPli­fy is a mar­ket entry plat­form cre­at­ed by Busi­ness Fin­land in coop­er­a­tion with Mayo Clin­ic. Its goal is to make access­ing the US mar­ket eas­i­er for Finnish health­care com­pa­nies.

The part­ner in the pro­gram, Mayo Clin­ic, is a large inte­grat­ed, not-for-prof­it med­ical group prac­tice in the US, com­mit­ted to clin­i­cal prac­tice, edu­ca­tion, and research. The group aims to improve the health of com­mu­ni­ties and accel­er­ate equal­i­ty and diver­si­ty in health care. Accord­ing to U.S. News & World Report, Mayo Clin­ic has more No. 1 rank­ings than any oth­er hos­pi­tal.

Smart PD Solu­tions has devel­oped a nov­el point-of-care mon­i­tor­ing device for peri­toneal dial­y­sis patients treat­ed at home. Join­ing AMPli­fy offers the com­pa­ny a great oppor­tu­ni­ty to utilise the high-lev­el expert guid­ance and invalu­able net­work­ing the pro­gram will pro­vide. Smart PD Solu­tions is cur­rent­ly work­ing strong­ly on access­ing the US mar­ket. The com­pa­ny will show­case their solu­tion in the Fin­land Pavil­ion dur­ing HLTH 2024 event held in Las Vegas in Octo­ber.
