The Wellbeing County of North Ostrobothnia (Pohde) is piloting artificial intelligence to assist with patient documentation. The trial aims to significantly reduce the time doctors spend on documentation. It will continue until the spring of next year and will involve doctors from various specialties and primary healthcare. The tested application is estimated to also be suitable for the nursing and social care sectors.

Pohde aims to be at the forefront of AI development. In the future, the application will be further developed to handle other assistive tasks in addition to drafting conversation summaries.
