Nucu introduces two new exciting features to simplify tracking babies’ sleep

To make understanding children’s sleep schedules easier and more seamless, Oulu-based Nucu has launched two new features within the Nucu app: Sleep Log and Daily Sleep View. By using them combined, parents can see patterns, spot changes, and plan better routines.

Sleep Log stacks the last few days of nights and naps in a single view, so trends jump off the page instead of hiding in guesswork. A quick glance can tell parents when their child fell asleep, woke, and whether they stayed in bed, coded by color and spacing. This features helps trace patterns such as bedtime drift, longest unbroken sleep block, and self-soothing practice.

Daily Sleep View converts one stretch of sleep into a clear summary that parents can scan in seconds and study in depth. By using this function, they can see a calmness graph that rises with movement and drops with stillness, as well as sleep stages, bedtime and wake up times, time in bed versus time asleep, among other insights.

Both new features have become available from April 29th, 2025, on the updated Nucu iOS app.
