Rad­i­cal Health Fes­ti­val Helsin­ki

Fol­low­ing the suc­cess of its pre­vi­ous edi­tion, Rad­i­cal Health Fes­ti­val Helsin­ki returns to the Helsin­ki Expo and Con­ven­tion Cen­tre on May 22^nd – 23^rd, 2024. The theme for the event is “Deploy­ing pre­ci­sion and pre­ven­tion at scale”.

After an acclaimed edi­tion in 2023, in which it held impact­ful dis­cus­sions between pol­i­cy­mak­ers, health pro­fes­sion­als, inno­va­tors, jour­nal­ists and influ­encers from around the world, the Rad­i­cal Health Fes­ti­val Helsin­ki returns for anoth­er oppor­tu­ni­ty to unite diverse per­spec­tives on health mat­ters.

Health sys­tems around the world are now fac­ing numer­ous chal­lenges: age­ing pop­u­la­tions, increas­ing preva­lence of car­dio-meta­bol­ic con­di­tions, work­force short­ages and burnouts, ris­ing health­care costs, unsus­tain­able financ­ing sys­tems, and health inequities. The future of health­care lies at the inter­sec­tion of pre­ven­tion and pre­ci­sion. Deploy­ing pre­ven­tion and pre­ci­sion at scale rep­re­sents a par­a­digm shift, which requires vision, lead­er­ship, change man­age­ment and the need to be rad­i­cal.

The Rad­i­cal Health Fes­ti­val Helsin­ki is a gen­uine and col­lab­o­ra­tive event result­ing from the efforts of over 20 key Euro­pean con­tribut­ing part­ners.

With the tagline “It’s Crit­i­cal to Be Rad­i­cal,” the event is dri­ven by the shared ambi­tion to trans­form health­care, deliv­er val­ue, improve clin­i­cal and finan­cial out­comes, and make health sys­tems sus­tain­able. The fes­ti­val offers health inno­va­tion lead­ers and stake­hold­ers a range of dif­fer­ent work­shops, talks, and inter­ac­tive expe­ri­ences that will cov­er top­ics rang­ing from arti­fi­cial intel­li­gence and healthy age­ing to men­tal health and cyber­se­cu­ri­ty.

Rad­i­cal Health Fes­ti­val Helsin­ki pro­vides care­ful­ly select­ed edu­ca­tion­al ses­sions led by influ­en­tial health­care lead­ers from around the world. The fes­ti­val also counts with a diver­si­ty of part­ners in its con­tent and for­mats: from high-lev­el think tank dis­cus­sions and start­up pitch ses­sions to accred­it­ed pro­fes­sion­al devel­op­ment mod­ules. In addi­tion to explor­ing the lat­est trends in dig­i­tal health­care, Rad­i­cal Health Fes­ti­val Helsin­ki also address­es the press­ing issues that the indus­try faces such as the aging pop­u­la­tion, pan­demics, men­tal health prob­lems, short­age of pro­fes­sion­als and siloed infor­ma­tion.

The Fes­ti­val is a pow­er­ful plat­form to con­nect with the broad­er health inno­va­tion ecosys­tem, includ­ing pol­i­cy-mak­ing author­i­ties, pub­lic health agen­cies, hos­pi­tals and health sys­tems, phar­ma and medtech groups, pub­lic and pri­vate insur­ers, major IT ven­dors as well as star­tups and entre­pre­neurs, investors, and more.
