Health Tues­day: Insight into Ger­man health mar­ket and infor­ma­tion about inno­va­tion fund­ing for joint Ger­man-Finnish projects, online

Ger­many has been Fin­land’s largest trad­ing part­ner since 2014 and, thanks to its prox­im­i­ty and val­ue chain, is a nat­ur­al mar­ket and trad­ing part­ner for Finnish com­pa­nies.

Finnish com­pa­nies have good con­di­tions to suc­ceed in the Ger­man mar­ket. High com­pe­tence, a pos­i­tive image of the coun­try, and close rela­tions between the coun­tries con­tribute to the suc­cess of Finnish com­pa­nies. The image of Finnish com­pa­nies as reli­able part­ners is empha­sized in the con­di­tions of glob­al uncer­tain­ty and sup­ply chain dif­fi­cul­ties. The coro­na cri­sis served as a cat­a­lyst for the devel­op­ment of the dig­i­tal­iza­tion of the Ger­man health sec­tor, and the cur­rent gov­ern­ment con­tin­ues this work.

To boost export from Fin­land, Ger­many and Fin­land will announce a new Call for Pro­pos­als for joint R&D projects in 2025, focus­ing on devel­op­ing inno­v­a­tive prod­ucts and appli­ca­tions with a pri­or­i­ty on Health and Dig­i­tal­iza­tion as well as Man­u­fac­tur­ing indus­tries.

NEW: The fund­ing is 50 % Grant from the Finnish side and a grant accord­ing to the ZIM reg­u­la­tions on the Ger­man side.
