Changes in the Pol­ish Hos­pi­tal Mar­ket – look at antic­i­pat­ed devel­op­ments dri­ven by RRF and relat­ed busi­ness oppor­tu­ni­ties, online

Pol­ish hos­pi­tals are under­go­ing a sig­nif­i­cant trans­for­ma­tion dri­ven by sub­stan­tial fund­ing from the Recov­ery and Resilience Facil­i­ty (RRF), Pol­ish Gov­ern­ment Med­ical Funds and the EU Cohe­sion Pol­i­cy. These invest­ments aim to cre­ate a more sus­tain­able, dig­i­tal, and patient-ori­ent­ed health­care sys­tem.

As part of this trans­for­ma­tion, med­ical enti­ties are expect­ed to restruc­ture and receive exten­sive sup­port for mod­ern­iz­ing their equip­ment and infra­struc­ture. By 2026, the Pol­ish health­care sec­tor is set to ben­e­fit from over €4.4 bil­lion from RRF, specif­i­cal­ly allo­cat­ed to enhanc­ing effi­cien­cy, acces­si­bil­i­ty, and the qual­i­ty of ser­vices. This effort will pri­mar­i­ly tar­get high­ly spe­cial­ized hos­pi­tals or region­al hos­pi­tals with approx­i­mate­ly 300 enti­ties slat­ed for upgrades or mod­ern­iza­tion. Key areas of focus include hos­pi­tal design, mod­ern­iza­tion, inte­ri­or improve­ments, health tech­nol­o­gy, robot­ics, patient mon­i­tor­ing sys­tems, pre­ven­tion and diag­nos­tic tools and var­i­ous dig­i­tal solu­tions aimed at opti­miz­ing hos­pi­tal oper­a­tions and improv­ing patient care.

This trans­for­ma­tion presents excit­ing oppor­tu­ni­ties for col­lab­o­ra­tion, par­tic­u­lar­ly with Finnish smart hos­pi­tal tech­nol­o­gy providers and design-and-build experts. These experts can con­tribute inno­v­a­tive solu­tions to sup­port Poland’s health­care mod­ern­iza­tion goals.

The webi­nar, orga­nized by Busi­ness Fin­land, is a great oppor­tu­ni­ty to gain an under­stand­ing of the Pol­ish hos­pi­tal mar­ket.
