Changes in the Polish Hospital Market – look at anticipated developments driven by RRF and related business opportunities, online
Polish hospitals are undergoing a significant transformation driven by substantial funding from the Recovery and Resilience Facility (RRF), Polish Government Medical Funds and the EU Cohesion Policy. These investments aim to create a more sustainable, digital, and patient-oriented healthcare system.
As part of this transformation, medical entities are expected to restructure and receive extensive support for modernizing their equipment and infrastructure. By 2026, the Polish healthcare sector is set to benefit from over €4.4 billion from RRF, specifically allocated to enhancing efficiency, accessibility, and the quality of services. This effort will primarily target highly specialized hospitals or regional hospitals with approximately 300 entities slated for upgrades or modernization. Key areas of focus include hospital design, modernization, interior improvements, health technology, robotics, patient monitoring systems, prevention and diagnostic tools and various digital solutions aimed at optimizing hospital operations and improving patient care.
This transformation presents exciting opportunities for collaboration, particularly with Finnish smart hospital technology providers and design-and-build experts. These experts can contribute innovative solutions to support Poland’s healthcare modernization goals.
The webinar, organized by Business Finland, is a great opportunity to gain an understanding of the Polish hospital market. You will hear an expert from a local hospital share insight on trends and opportunities for innovation solutions, as well as current EU-funding healthcare cases.
