The 9th CASSI­NI Hackathon is call­ing all devel­op­ers, entre­pre­neurs, design­ers, and space enthu­si­asts to col­lab­o­rate and trans­form health­care using Euro­pean space tech­nolo­gies!

The Chal­lenge

This year’s theme, ‘Space for Health­care’, focus­es on three major chal­lenges:

1. Mon­i­tor­ing Dis­ease Out­breaks & Health Risks: Use space data to pre­dict dis­ease out­breaks, track envi­ron­men­tal health risks, and devel­op ear­ly warn­ing sys­tems.
2. Smart Emer­gency Health­care Deliv­ery: Opti­mise med­ical sup­ply chains, telemed­i­cine, and cri­sis response using satel­lite tech­nol­o­gy.
3. Men­tal Health & Well-Being: Lever­age envi­ron­men­tal data to assess men­tal health impacts, per­son­alise well-being solu­tions, and improve urban plan­ning.

Prizes and Oppor­tu­ni­ties

• Top 3 Euro­pean win­ners will receive up to €9,000 in cash prizes (€5,000 for 1st place, €3,000 for 2nd place, €1,000 for 3rd place).
• Local prize pool of €5000 for the win­ners in Fin­land!
• 100 hours of tai­lored men­tor­ing to devel­op your project beyond the hackathon.
• Access to Euro­pean inno­va­tion net­works, space incu­ba­tors, and accel­er­a­tor pro­grammes.
