Detec­tion Tech­nol­o­gy launch­es expand­ed flat pan­el detec­tor port­fo­lio for glob­al sales

Detec­tion Tech­nol­o­gy, a glob­al leader in X‑ray detec­tor solu­tions, has announced the world­wide avail­abil­i­ty of its expand­ed X‑ray flat pan­el detec­tor port­fo­lio, now fea­tur­ing over 60 prod­ucts. The port­fo­lio includes advanced a‑Si (amor­phous sil­i­con), IGZO (indi­um gal­li­um zinc oxide), and CMOS (com­ple­men­tary met­al-oxide semi­con­duc­tor) tech­nol­o­gy-based detec­tors, opti­mized for a wide range of indus­tri­al, med­ical, and secu­ri­ty X‑ray imag­ing appli­ca­tions.

Cur­rent­ly, the port­fo­lio includes prod­ucts per­fect­ed for the fol­low­ing appli­ca­tions:

• Indus­tri­al: Bat­tery inspec­tion, elec­tron­ics inspec­tion, high-ener­gy non-destruc­tive test­ing (NDT), and stan­dard NDT.
• Med­ical: Den­tal imag­ing, flu­o­roscopy, oncol­o­gy, portable dig­i­tal radi­og­ra­phy (DR), and sur­gi­cal imag­ing.
• Secu­ri­ty: Explo­sive ord­nance dis­pos­al (EOD).
