Oulu-based Peili Vision and Premera join forces to deliver better remote health services

Peili Vision and Premera have started cooperation in the field of remote neurological rehabilitation. The main goal is to provide even better solutions to be used, for example, in speech therapy.

Due to ongoing changes caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, the need for remote services in social and healthcare has increased significantly. Peili Vision and Premera’s joint efforts make it possible to replace face-to-face therapy with a virtual one.

‘Through the established cooperation with Premera, we are now able to offer an integrated solution that will support patients in their recovery processes even better,’ commented Jussi Auvinen, CEO at Peili Vision.

The cooperation between these two companies started at the beginning of May and it is expected to bring positive results, such as removing the need for physical contact, reducing overload in healthcare as well as time and cost savings. In this way, also patients who live in remote areas will easily receive the help they need to move on with their recovery processes.

’Remote speech therapy is as effective as meetings with a therapist onsite. Through the cooperation with Peili Vision, we add an important part to our service offering, which means that the rehabilitee’s support person, such as a family member, can now be actively integrated into his or her recovery process. This, in turn, will improve the effectiveness of the therapy itself,’ added Olli Liukkonen, CEO at Premera.
