WILLE project aims to create a service co-creation platform to enable the co-design of wireless digital services for hospital environment by researchers, industry, health care professionals and end users. The development of platform is supported by dynamic business modelling validated through proof-of-concept cases. The project will support the development of novel service concepts for future hospitals.
The project is funded through the regional EU fund and implemented 1/2016 – 5/2017.

During the project, two proof-of-concept cases will be executed with patients, healthcare professionals and companies.
In the first one we are focusing on children and their parents in care at the hospital, with the goal of covering the whole surgery process from the perspective of patients and professionals: digital support for the preparation to surgery, the surgery itself, home monitoring, and communication between the families and the hospital. The target is to develop and pilot digital services responding to the needs of the target group with support by the healthcare professionals.
Another focus area is to build better and new type of real-time data communication support between the ambulance and the emergency department. We are focusing especially on patients that are arriving to the hospital by ambulance.
