Vote for Oulu Sote Labs project in the RegioStars Public Choice Awards 2019

The Oulu Sote Labs project is one of the 24 finalists  of the RegioStars Public Choice Awards 2019 and competes in the modernising health services category.

This development project has been established in collaboration with Northern Ostrobothnia Hospital District, the City of Oulu and Oulu University of Applied Sciences. The aim is to provide a testing and development environment to support the development of health care and medical technology products and services in a user-oriented way. This new approach will enable product development in an authentic user environment in collaboration between program partners, companies, research institutes as well as social and health care service users.

The REGIOSTARS Awards are Europe’s competition for the most innovative, regional projects, organised by the European Commission’s Directorate General for Regional and Urban Policy. The main goal is to identify good practices in regional development and highlight innovative, EU-funded projects, which could be attractive and inspiring to other regions and project managers

199 projects joined the competition and 24 were chosen for the finals. The voting is open till 9 September 2019. The winners in all five categories will be announced on 9 October, during the 2019 EU week of Cities and Regions.
