Oulu-based Optomed makes Financial Times 1000
Optomed, a medical technology company specializing in retinal imaging devices and solutions, has been placed on the Financial Times list of 1 000 fastest-growing companies in Europe.
The criteria for the list are a revenue of at least 100 000 euros in 2013 and 1.5 million in 2016, independent company status, and headquarters in Europe. Apart from Optomed, five other Finnish companies were also included on the list.
Optomed provides complete screening solutions with market’s best hand held retinal camera, integrated artificial intelligence, consultation tools and software to manage the whole screening process. This company’s mission is to make eye disease screenings available for everyone, wherever needed.
