Nordic Test Beds project representatives from Oulu present results at the conference in Oslo
About 150 participants, representatives of test facilities and companies, met in Oslo to discuss opportunities for collaboration during the Developing Tomorrow’s Solutions in Nordic Test Facilities conference. Juha Korpelainen and Timo Alalääkkölä from the OysTestLab as well as Jukka Palsosaari from Tieto were among the speakers at this event. They talked about cooperation with the industry sector and provided experiences from both hospital test facilities and companies.
The conference was hosted on 8 November by Nordic Innovation and leading partners within the Nordic test facility ecosystem on both hospital and municipal level. The idea was to highlight the role of Nordic hospitals as well as municipalities in transforming health and care together with innovative companies. The event was also an opportunity to show the results from three test facility projects: Nordic Business and Living Lab Alliance, Nordic Network of Test Beds and Nordic Test Beds.
The Nordic Test Beds project includes, among others, OuluHealth Labs at the Oulu University Hospital as well and the Centre for Health and Technology at the University of Oulu as the key partners. Its main goal is to facilitate testing of health products or services in collaboration with companies, research institutes and health care professionals in Nordic health living labs that are connected to hospitals.
The agenda featured also the health tech market representatives keynotes as well as panel debates.
