An Oulu-based Nukute has selected a new CEO, Tommi Kaasalainen, to lead the development process.
Nukute is a med tech company that has developed a novel, user-friendly and cost effective technology to pre-screen and assist in diagnose of sleep apnea patients. The company is currently doing clinical validation in Oulu University Hospital and gathering data to teach the machine learning algorithm to detect sleep apnea. Simultaneously Nukute is applying for the CE certification and negotiating with a global distributor candidate on including the solution into their portfolio.
Tommi Kaasalainen started working in a new role on 1 April. His main duties include finalizing the Nukute product development project and searching for the best business partners.
‘In the nearest future, I am going to focus on getting all quality and regulatory requirements completed to receive CE mark for our solution,’ commented Tommi Kaasalainen.
