RemoAge -closing conference, Luleå
An informative and educational conference related to the RemoAge project will be held on 16 January in Luleå. RemoAge focuses on remote support for healthy ageing. Its main objective is to develop innovative health and care services for an aging population in sparsely populated areas of northern Europe, where long distances and limited resources are significant challenges.
Project teams from Norway, Scotland and Sweden will explain how they are using technology to improve access and quality of care in rural communities as well as improve the sustainability of health and care systems.

What you will learn during the conference;
- Innovative ways to support independent living in rural communities
- Successful ways of using distance spanning technology to improve the quality of care
- How technology can improve collaboration and delivery of more person-centered care.
- The impact of digitisation on patients, their families, health professionals and care organizations.
On the 17 January, the project partners will visit Eastern Norrbotten for a study visit to learn more, for example, about the meaning of eHealth in an aging society.
