Health impact seminar

A health impact seminar will be at VTT, Oulu, Kaitoväylä 1, on the 29th of November 2018 from 8.30 to 11.30. The goal of the seminar is to discuss recent methods and cases related to the evaluation of the impact of health services and health technology solutions. The presentations include the following:

  • Impact evaluation, examples from the nursing science from Singapore hospitals, He Hong-Gu, National University of Singapore
  • Impact research in medical context, Risto Roine, University of Eastern Finland
  • National impact evaluation methods and criteria, Petra Falkenbach, Oulu University Hospital
  • Preventive Impact evaluation in healthcare, Peter Ylen, VTT
  • Digital health solution impact evaluation, Marja Harjumaa, VTT
  • Decision support system impact evaluation, Mark Van Gils, VTT
  • National health solutions impact evaluation, Jarmo Reponen, University of Oulu
  • Service innovation impact evaluation, Kirsi Hyytinen, VTT

The person responsible for organizing the seminar is Minna Pikkarainen, Research Professor of Connected Health at VTT and the University of Oulu
