2nd Top of the World Arctic Broadband Summit, Oulu

The Top of The World (TOW) Summit will convene representatives of business, technology, science and decision-makers to discuss the role of connectivity in developing a safe, competent and interconnected Arctic.

The agenda features panel discussion with representatives, for example, from Russia, Finland, US and Japan, who will focus on the following themes: Interconnected Arctic, Competent Arctic and Safe Arctic. In addition, the Summit participants will discuss the future of the Arctic in the light of an increased broadband development and its implications for the development of Arctic societies and businesses.

There will also be the opportunity for networking and site visits to some of Oulu’s most innovative technological organizations such as Nokia, Bittium, PrintoCent Innovation Center and OuluHealth Labs.

Venue: Uusi Seurahuone, Rantakatu 4, Oulu

The TOW Summit is organized by the The Arctic Economic Council together with the City of Oulu and it will gather an estimated number of 150 participants from around the world.
